EVERY YEAR NEARLY 99 PERCENT STUDENTS FAIL IN AIPMT

AIPMT or All India Pre Medical Test exam is so difficult that every year approximately 99 percent of the candidates applying for this exam fail to crack. Only 0.6 to 1 percent of students are able to crack this test.

This year nearly 6.3 lakh students participated in the test. There are approximately 52,000 seats for MBBS in the country out of which 25,000 seats only for government college (other than AIIMS and JIPMER) under All India Quota. This makes only 3700 seats available for which lakh's of students apply. Due to this reason only 0.6 to 1 percent students are able to crack the AIPMT test.

Fees of government colleges is about Rs 25,000 to Rs 75,000. The govt colleges also provide good quality education to the selected students. For MBBS course the fees of private colleges is about 15 lakh to 40 lakh. While seats of management quota cost about 50 lakh to 80 lakh. Even with so high admission fees, the quality of education in these type of colleges is poor.

Due to increment in fees of private colleges and poor quality of education, the candidates are focusing more on government college.
