CEED - COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR DESIGN

CEED ( Common Entrance Examination for Design ) is a joint entrance examination for the admission to post graduate education of Master of Design (M.Des) programmes at IIT's and IISc institutes of India. This entrance exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay on behalf of MHRD, Government of India.

The objective of CEED to test the candidate's creativity, logical, observation and drawing skills and communication skills. CEED does not guarantee full admission in some institutes as they may furthur conduct tests and interview for the final selection or admission. They also verify the eligibility, category as well as the entrance exam score. The CEED score valid only for a period of two years from the date of announcement of results.

Eligibility for CEED
Candidates can appear for the CEED any number of times with no age limit.
The minimum qualification for appearing in this exam is Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, Architecture or Fine Arts.

Generally the CEED held on the month of December every year.

Examination Pattern of Common Entrance Examination for Design
Since 2013, CEED has changed its examination pattern. The examination occur in three stages i.e Part-A, Part-B and Interview.
First test is the preliminary screening test having 50 MCQ questions of general knowledge and awareness with negative marking. Correct answer gives 2.0 marks while wrong answer deducts -0.5 marks.
Candidates who qualify the screening test (part-A) goes to the part-B which consist of design and hand drawing questions.
So visitors if you are interested in drawing and design and having a bachelors degree then you can go for the CEED.

JEE MAIN 2015 RESULTS DECLARED - CHECK CUTOFF

Hey visitors CBSE i.e Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the result of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2015 on Monday 3pm, The results can be checked from the official website of CBSE.

This year the cut-off score for the eligibility for Join Entrance Examination (Advanced) is 105 out of 360 for the students in general category which is low as compared to the last year's 115.

The cut-off for SC and ST category is 50 and 44 respectively while for OBC it is 70. It was nearly 13 lakh students participated for the JEE.

The top 1.5 candidates will be selected to appear for the JEE (Advanced) in order to get admissions to IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and Indian School of Mines (ISM) which is located in Dhanbad.

We Congrats to the selected candidates and best of luck for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced.

MAT 2015 MAY ADMIT CARDS OUT

Hey visitors if you've been registered already for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015, then its time to download the admit cards from the official website of All India Management Association (AIMA).

Candidates need to enter the name, form number and date of birth to access the admit card. As we know admit card is important document to be carried to the test centre by all the registered candidates.

               The admit card of MAT 2015 contain the name of the candidate, form number, roll number, test date, time and venue address. So the candidates have to strictly follow the date and time provided in the admit card.

The paper based MAT May 2015 examination will be held on 3rd May 2015 and the computer based online examination will be held on 9th May 2015.

WHAT IS GATE (GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING) ?

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is one of the computer based online all India examination for the students of UG subjects in engineering, architecture, technology and post graduate subjects in science. It was first started in 1984.
            The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and other seven Indian Institutes of Technology jointly conduct this test for the admission to various PG education programmes like M.E, M-tech, Ph.D etc in higher Indian education institutes like IISc and IITs.

The score card of GATE is used for the admission in various institutes for PG education as well it is also used by several Indian public sectors companies for the recruitment of graduate engineers in entry level positions. However, the graph is candidates is decreasing annually but its still one of the competitive exam in India.

As with the name the test is only for the graduates or undergraduates for the PG engineering admissions. The exam generally held in the month of February every year in over 660 centres across India.

DURATION OF EXAMINATION
The duration of GATE exam is of 3 hours containing a total of 65 questions with maximum 100 marks. Since it is an online examination now so the candidates are shown the questions in a computer screen with random sequence having both multiple choice and numerical answer type questions.
           The candidates are provided with a paper sheet also for rough work which is must to be returned after the examination. Result may be declared after a period of one month whose score card is valid for 3 years from the date of announcement of results.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) - Entrance Examination

As with the name itself, the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is another National Entrance Test of India which is conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for the admission to MBA and other similar programmes. The Score card of MAT help students to get admission in various B-School (both international and national). There are over 600 B-Schools across India.
The test is generally designed to measure the candidates aptitudes, mathematical skills, language comprehension, data analysis and sufficiency with critical reasoning.

DMER Maharashtra announces MH-CET 2015 exam dates

The DMER (Director Medical Education and Research), Mumbai has announced the time table for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) for the year 2015.
MHCET 2015 is the qualifying entrance examination, which is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, B.Pth, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O, B.Sc Nursing, BVSc and AH courses, for the academic year 2015.
